What's new with us? Ear Plugs!

So I a friend of mine and I were having a chat about her horse and her allergies, along with that we got to talking about her ear plugs and what she uses. Her horse has a allergy to some synthetic materials. She uses the sheepskin ones that are supper fluffy, but matte when cleaned and they are really expensive. I was amazed at the cost when I started doing the research to find out about them. My horses don't really need them how ever I have used other ones in the past.

I got the idea that there has to be a more economical way to use oils and aroma therapy and us

ing ear plugs that won't cause her horse to have issues. I went into a deep dive into the world of ear plugs, who knew there were that many?

I did get an idea and I reached out to one of my good friends that works with wool and makes felt items. I asked for a set of balls that were just big enough to fit in Miss Doodle Bug's ears. It took us a few tries but we got it. We are now working together to bring you a sustainable natural way to alleviate noise distractions from your horse.

The best part about the wool is it is already felted and will keeps it's integrity when washed. We are able to add some of our oil blends to them to create a full effect aromatherapy. We add a spray of the oil blend to the wool ball and inset into the ear. They have some give to them and are very forgiving.

They are completable washable and reusable just like our Grooming rags. I just love using them now, they are great for all my horses even they ones who hate their ears being messes with.

For reference I do not clip the inside of my horses' ears and they are very snug, we are working on getting some smaller sizes done for our Arabian horses' ears. They are great and come out easy as well with limited coaxing. With anything like this there is a slight learning curve with getting them to stay in... I am not the best sometimes with theses things I do not use often.

I love them now and can't wait to keep using them in the future! Please let me know if you have any ideas or anything we should try to create!

Best of luck!
